Rin seems irritated to see him and turns down his advances outright. Shortly after, Rin is greeted by Shinji Matou, Sakura’s foster brother. Sakura and Rin exchange greetings before Rin heads out to the school building. At the archery complex, another student comes in to join them. In a flashback outside the front gate of a mansion, a young child named Rin Tohsaka is handed a book by her smiling father, Tokiomi Tohsaka.
